3.Ko Lanta: Half-Day Kayaking, Talabeng, Sea Cave & Mangrove

★★★★★★★★★★4.6 · 153 reviews · 4 hours · from $32

You’ll travel by long-tail boat from Tung Yee Peng through the mangroves to Koh Aung, Koh Phee, and Koh Talabeng. Expect easy kayaking, a sandy beach, sea caves, monkeys, fruit, soft drinks, and lunch. Guides such as Alim, Ramadan, and Samir help with the rope-assisted cave climb, so bring sturdy shoes and a change of clothes.

“We had a really great time with this tour. We got picked-up from our hotel at the estimated time (maybe 5 min later than expected) and drove to a private pier to go on a long tail boat. The first stop was a cave on the Ko Talabeng which was a true adventure! We climbed into the cave. And I mean real climbing: you have to pull yourself up a robe so make sure you feel ok with heights and some sportily activity. After that we hoped on the Kayakts and had time to explore the island and the surroundings. So much to see and experience! Totally worth it.”

Expect a short but active paddle, cave entry, swimming, fruit, soft drinks, lunch, and hotel transfers with an English or Thai-speaking guide.

“Fun day. Loved the boat trip through the mangroves and monkeys. The kayaking was fun too and we were guided into the cave. I didn't climb the skull cave (the tyre and rope ladder looked a bit steep!) but my partner loved it. Good to see a different part of Lanta.”
